What We Are Canada Adopts! is a networking service, an information source and a community. You could also say we're a call to action. But more on that later. For now, we figure if we can ask couples on our Waiting Parents Registry to sum up their entire lives in 1,500 words or less, we could at least tell you who are in a sentence.We’re basically here to make your life easier. And maybe even help you change it, if you want to. It doesn’t matter whether you’re thinking of adopting a child, considering adoption for your child or just wondering what this thing called adoption is all about. We’ll show you how the process works so you can make it work for you. Our main focus is on helping waiting couples adopt a child through the private domestic process. That’s what we know best, where our experience lies, and where we feel we can make a genuine difference. You see, in some provinces you can actually shave valuable time and money off your search by finding your child yourself. Yes, contrary to popular belief, adoptions really do happen -- but only if you make them happen. Through our Writing Services, Design Service and Waiting Parent Registry, we're here to make your placement happen. In addition to being a networking service aimed at jumpstarting your adoption journey, we're a community. A community that believes passionately that there’s more than one way to build a family. Adoption may not always be everyone’s first choice, but for so many of us who have gone through the process, battle scars and all, it’s been by far the best choice.
