Our Life Together

Married:
We have been married for almost 5 years! We have been together for 14 years. We are college sweethearts!
Residence
We bought our 3-bedroom home in 2000 in a quiet suburban neighbourhood of Ottawa. Our fenced backyard is quite large and provides plenty of room to play for Lara (we even have wild rabbits visiting us).
Location
Ottawa, ON
Neighborhood
We enjoy walking in the nearby parks and forests. Our neighbours are friendly and many have children. We usually enjoy walking to our nearby sports complex, library, stores and even a toboggan hill.
Other Children
Yes. We are proud parents of our 2 and a half year old daughter, Lara. She was born in Thunder Bay. Her birthmom is Ojibway and her birthdad is French-Canadian. We do keep contact with her birthfamily. We frequently visit her birth family in Thunder Bay (that we consider our family as well). We also respect her aboriginal heritage and we participate in a drumming group, go to local powwows, consult elders and learn about the culture to ensure that we can pass it on to her.
Pets

Our Favorite Things
to do Together

We love going camping, having family dinners, playing everyday with our daughter. It is amazing and wonderful to return to childhood.
