In 2005 an angel placed Cienna into our arms and care, and we think of her beauty and courage everyday. We share Cienna’s life via photos and letters with her birth family while being respectful of their privacy. We are excited to add another light to our family.

We know it is hard to try to decide what is in the best interest of this child you are carrying. I can promise you, that as we have with Cienna, we would consider that same option every day of that child’s life. As we know this is a courageous and loving decision you are making.

Our Home
A regular weekend is filled with visits to the zoo, hugs and kisses morning and night, family visits, lots of animals to love, baking cookies, embracing and learning as well as lots of laughs and joy. At night we read Cienna her favorite books including “her story.”

Marc and I have been married for seven years. We both come from families with strong values. Cienna has seven cousins she enjoys spending time with and looks forward to having a sibling to share every day with. In our 10 years together we have learned to communicate and have built a good life for us and, our blessing; Cienna. Our home is often filled with giggles and humour as well as snuggles and love.

Cienna
Cienna is a bright and happy two year old. She is loving and affectionate and treasures her family pets our dog Codey and two cats. She will make a wonderful sister as she is very much a caregiver at heart. She lines up her stuffed animals and changes all their diapers, feeds them, and embraces them. She loves animals and visits to the local zoo, hiking, parks and hugs. Her grandparents see her weekly and she loves spending time with them. She has traveled all over with us and has been to the west coast (Canada and US), the Caribbean, camping and resorting. She has many cousins but “takes care” of her little cousin baby Max whenever he visits.

Marc is an incredible father who is supportive and loving to Cienna. He is fully involved in every aspect of her day from waking up to bedtime. Often I hear them giggling together while in another room playing “barbies” and it is always one of the happiest moments of my life. He is a wonderful husband and father, and the love of my life. He instills self confidence in Cienna and sets a wonderful example for her.

Cyndi spends much of her time, thinking of exciting adventures for Cienna. She is a caring and loving mother and wife. My favorite moments are watching her with Cienna and the love they share. Or when Cienna runs into her arms from across the room. Cyndi is pivotal in creating a secure and loving home from her little touches around the house to the moments she embraces you with all her heart. The showing of affection is open and welcomed in our home.

Our spare time is spent camping, hiking and swimming at the lake. We also enjoy taking Cienna to our local parks, on vacation, and to her grandparent’s houses (all very close) or on adventures with her cousins.

We live in a beautiful older area where streets are lined with century old trees and parks, zoos, skating rinks, and music and art centres are all at our doorstep.

Our goal is to be parents and provide a loving and nurturing environment for a child, as well as for Cienna to have a sibling she can giggle with, cry with and love sharing life with.
