We believe children should have a voice, an opinion that is valued and respected, and be included in family decisions. We hope to raise our child to have confidence to do anything their heart desires. Education is equally important to us, and it is our intention to offer our child the best education we can provide. We are fortunate to be in a sound financial situation, allowing Connie the flexibility to be a stay-at-home Mom.

Connie and Geoff

Hello.

Making an adoption plan for your baby must be a very difficult decision for you. We admire your strength during this process, and we hope that by learning a little bit about us, you will consider us in your decision making. We hope we can be a source of comfort to you, and provide you with our dedication and commitment to raising your child.

About Us
We are Connie and Geoff. We have known each other for over nine years and have been married for three. Geoff proposed marriage while on a romantic European vacation, and we were married a few months later in an intimate outdoor ceremony with our closest family and friends. We have always dreamed of having a family, however after struggling with some infertility, we were unable to have children. We hope to fulfill our dream through adoption.

We enjoy skiing, snowboarding, boating, and golfing together. Connie’s parents have a cottage up north where we often spend the weekends. We also love shopping for home decorating ideas, dinners with friends, and the occasional stay-at-home games or movie rental night. We have a solid relationship built upon mutual respect, honesty, and communication. We are very much in love, and want to share our lives with our child.

Family
Connie was born in Toronto to Italian parents, and has a younger brother. Geoff was born in Montreal to parents originally from Newfoundland, and has a younger brother and older sister. We are fortunate to have very loving and supportive parents and families who continue to be an inspiration to us in our adulthood. Our entire families are thrilled to hear we are adopting, and are excited and ready to welcome our child.

Geoff on Connie
Connie is an incredible woman who is caring and giving to her family and friends and goes out of her way to help others. Connie has a fire for life that is contagious. People gravitate towards her to share a story or life event, as they know she will bring empathy and compassion to their lives. I adore how she is able to bring a level of humanity and kindness to any situation. I feel grateful for having her in my life.

Connie has a close relationship with her goddaughter, Rosanna. The two of them love to swim and wakeboard together at the cottage in the summertime. Every December, they have an annual Christmas-time shopping day together; ending with a trip to the cosmetics counter to “glam” up before I take them for a fancy dinner. When they are together, I am not sure who has more fun, Rosanna or Connie.

Connie on Geoff
Geoff is by far the person who has had the single greatest impact on my life. He has taught me to be strong and proud. He supports me in achieving all my goals and dreams. He is a great listener; his family and friends are always looking to him for advice. Geoff isn’t afraid of anything and will take on any task or challenge.

Our nephew and niece, Jack and Emma, adore their Uncle Geoff. They love playing games with him including the “who-can-go-the-longest-without-giggling” game. Poor Jack and Emma seem to lose that game every time, because Uncle Geoff is really good at making them giggle.

Our Home
We live in a cozy and charming home in a close-knit community of Toronto where the treetops touch the sky.  It is an ideal neighbourhood for raising a family and we have some of the best elementary and high schools in the district. We can walk to schools, parks, churches, shops and restaurants. We have wonderful neighbours, and friends with young children who live a few streets away.

Parenting
We believe children should have a voice, an opinion that is valued and respected, and be included in family decisions. We hope to raise our child to have confidence to do anything their heart desires. Education is equally important to us, and it is our intention to offer our child the best education we can provide. We are fortunate to be in a sound financial situation, allowing Connie the flexibility to be a stay-at-home Mom.

Adoption
Our hopes are for an open adoption with the opportunity to send you photos and letters as your baby grows over the years. It is important that your child knows how much you love him or her; however, we are prepared to welcome any relationship you are ready for, and are willing to provide an arrangement you are most comfortable with.

Thank You
We would love to have a family and we hope you will consider us as parents to your baby. If you can take away something from this letter, it is a mutual love that we will share with you for your child.  Thank you for learning a little bit about us. We would love the opportunity to speak with you.  Whatever your heart decides, we wish you and your baby a lovely, happy life.

Warmly,
Connie and Geoff
