I'm a 37-year-old single male. I'm a Canadian citizen but have lived overseas for 9 years and am currently a resident of South Korea. I'm looking to adopt (probably from the Russia/Ukraine/Belarus area but not necessarily). Does anyone have any information that might help me know how to deal with the added complication of not living in Canada, but wanting my adopted child to become a Canadian citizen?

Also, if you want to know which countries allow single male adoption, check out the thread called "International Adoption Countries" under the "Single Parent Adoption" heading. Hope this helps you a bit in your information search!
